I’ve had a great experience at this dental office. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and makes me feel comfortable from the moment I walk in. The dentist takes the time to explain everything clearly and answers all of my questions, which helps ease any anxiety I have about dental visits. The office is clean, organized, and appointments have been on time. I appreciate the care and professionalism I’ve received, and I feel like they genuinely care about their patients’ oral health. Had a great visit today. My dental hygienist did an excellent job and was genuinely friendly, making for great conversation throughout the appointment. Dr. Bain was professional, thorough, and took the time to explain everything clearly. I really appreciated the great care and would definitely recommend this office.

One of my old crowns fell out very unexpectedly a couple evenings ago. I called the office at 8 am the next morning, was given a 4:30 pm appointment ( which fit my schedule perfectly. I was out of the office at 4:50 pm with crown solidly glued in after a good discussion with Dr. Pollard about the event. Great service!

I arrived at Carrels & Bain Family Dental Care to check in 15 min before appt. Checked in. I Sat maybe 5 minutes, then a young lady Amy W. announced my name, escorted me to her space. Explained what was planned for the appt (routine quarterly cleaning / exam of existing dental issue W/ consult by Dr. Carrels). She asked questions of me and what concerns I had, then we proceeded to escort me to the X-ray machine. After that we returned to her work space. She onfidently answered my questions about the imaging I saw on the monitor screen. Amy proceeded with the cleaning, again answering my questions and she was very courteous. Upon completion, Dr Carrols came in examined my teeth carefully to make an assesment. He listened to me. Provided me the alterantives for replacement of two previously extracted teeth. He spoke in clearly understood terms. He proceeded with laying out the plan to get the teeth replaced and who does what and how Xarrols and Bain would proceed with the SD VA. Amy completed the Floride treatment then escorted me to the front desk, repeating Dr. Carrols plan as how replacements would happen. The front desk person was very courteous speaking clearly and writing down a future schedule for me. Another lady more familiar with dealing with outside consultants and the VA weighed in now that she was off the phone. The plan was repeated. I was on my way out I believe within the hour I guestmated. The best part of the experience was howvI was treated. Everything occured on time, everyone treated me very well, I Came out with clean teeth and complete confidence in the care given and a future care plan that will work out. Great service! I am very happy with the commitment Dr. Pollard and Macy have shown me to make sure I am taken care of. I had not gone to a dentist for a very long time due to anxiety. I went for a check up and I new nothing would happen and I was ok. we went over the game plan and I knew my next visit was not going to be as fun, however on that first visit I felt so comfortable and calm because the care they showed. You both are awesome and thank you for giving me the anxiety free dental care.

I am terrified of the dentist and it had been many years since I had seen a dentist. Dr Pollard and his dental assistant Maycie were wonderful! They were kind, understanding, uplifting. They explained everything very clearly. Allowed me to ask the same questions multiple times. They did not make me feel bad for ignoring my teeth for such a long time. Handed me a Kleenex when I started to cry and kept asking me how I was doing. Asking if I needed a break. They helped to ease my fears and treated me with dignity. Dr Pollard was very upfront and honest with me about the best and most sustainable treatment for my dental concerns. He laid out a plan of what needed to be done now, what needs to be done in the future and what we can discuss at a later time. He really put the ball in my court to take care of my dental health. I would highly recommend Carrels & Bain for anyone but especially with someone with dental anxiety.
