I have had ALOT of dental work done throughout my life and never have I been to an office as welcoming, thorough, and kind as this one. From submitting a form to request an appointment to coming in for treatment, every staff member took their job seriously while remaining courteous and respectful. I didn’t feel rushed through my appointment or shamed for my current state of my oral health. This team really wants to help you feel comfortable and happy with your smile again!

Dr. Claustro and her team are exceptional! They are extremely professional, kind, and put patients first. I had previously seen many dentists for chronic gum inflammation, but Dr. Claustro and her team were the first, after 20 years of searching, to provide solutions that brought relief. They helped me achieve healthy gums for the first time in my life.

I was referred to this practice by my previous dentist in Florida. I booked an appointment in July (first available) for an initial screening. Prior to this appointment I had a dental emergency. Having never been seen, this practice could not have been more accommodating to get me in. They completely worked with my schedule and got me in as soon as I could make myself available. I was so comfortable from the minute I walked in and throughout the procedure. Dr. Sharp was available to meet with me and I could not be happier with the results and her kind mannerism and that of her assistant (Sarah). Thank you to the entire office for being so accommodating. Also a shout out to Rebecca and Julie for getting me in to the office as a last minute appointment. I am thrilled to have found a new dentist office in Virginia. 🙏

I had such a great experience at this dental office! Everyone there is so kind, welcoming, and personable. They truly make you feel comfortable from the moment you walk in. You can tell they genuinely care about their patients and always want what’s best for you. The staff takes the time to answer questions, explain everything, and make sure you feel taken care of. The energy is super kind, professional, and genuinely happy - which says a lot for a dentist office 😂✨ And let me just say… I am officially obsessed with their hygienist Remey 😭🙌🏻 She is an absolute gem! She is gentle, thorough, sweet, hilarious, and somehow makes getting your teeth cleaned feel like a fun spa day. I actually look forward to my next appointment. You can truly tell this team cares about their patients and about each other. The office runs beautifully, everyone is knowledgeable, and the vibe is just top tier. We had an absolutely outstanding experience with Dr. Claustro’s practice and I cannot recommend her and her team highly enough! My daughter has been dealing with TMD & TMJ, and from the very first visit, the level of care we received was truly exceptional. Dr. Claustro took the time to listen carefully to every concern we had, never rushing, and made sure we fully understood each step of the process. She has a unique ability to see the ‘bigger picture’ when it comes to care and treatment that is so refreshing. It’s rare to find a medical team that combines expertise with such a compassionate approach. We left feeling supported, and confident in the care my daughter is receiving. Dr Joanna Claustro was recommended to me by a colleague. I had my teeth cleaned, x-rayed, installation of composite fillings and preliminary work for a crown. Dr. Claustro and her staff are very professional, skilled and all around amazing from Alex at the reception desk, Sarah and Angie the dental hygienists. In addition Dr Sharp also examined me on my first cleaning visit. All the staff are friendly and they quickly make one feel special and well cared for. The office has the most up to date equipment and is situated on the third level of a profession office building with unmatched views of incoming airplanes into Dulles Airport. I highly recommend Dr Claustro and her team for your family's dental care.

I was a patient of Dr. Claustro before moving across the country. After years of what I would consider “okay” care in Seattle, a dentist there recommended a questionable and expensive procedure, claiming insurance wouldn’t cover it. Trusting my gut, I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Claustro during a trip back to DC — and I’m so grateful I did. She determined the procedure was unnecessarily aggressive at this stage and reassured me that, if needed in the future, it would be covered by insurance. She saved me from an unnecessary expense and treatment. To make the most of my visit, she even squeezed me in for my routine six‑month cleaning since I was due. Dr. Claustro provides not only excellent dental care but also demonstrates integrity, compassion, and a genuine commitment to her patients. Her office is welcoming, her team is professional, and she consistently goes above and beyond to ensure the best outcomes. I cannot recommend Dr. Claustro enough. I will continue to fly across the country for her care, and I encourage anyone seeking an ethical, skilled, and caring dentist to visit her practice.
