Sun Valley Pediatric Dentistry - Avondale

This last visit was absolutely surprising, both my son's where very comfortable & excited to be there. My oldest only 3 years old was excited to "take pictures" of his teeth & all because of the amazing staff.

My daughter has been seeing Dr. B over the past several years. All the visits have been positive and informative. Thank you team for a positive experience.

From start to finish, our visit was incredible! I love the benches in the exam area, which allowed me to stay close and watch my kids throughout the appointment. We recently went to another pediatrician dental near our house, had a horrible experience with a 1 chair policy they didn't explain before appt. Anyways Sun Valley the entire staff is so kind and patient. They have a wonderful way of making kids feel comfortable and brave. To top it off, my kids were thrilled with their prizes at the end! We couldn’t ask for a better experience.

I brought my 7-year-old child in for a scheduled dental treatment where nitrous oxide (laughing gas) was planned to be used. Upon arrival, I was informed for the first time that parents are not allowed in the treatment room. This policy had not been communicated to me beforehand during scheduling or in any paperwork. As a parent, I expressed that I was uncomfortable with my 7-year-old undergoing treatment and sedation without my presence. I made it very clear that I was not questioning the dentist’s professional ability and was simply advocating for my child’s safety and comfort. Unfortunately, the dentist responded defensively and the conversation became unnecessarily confrontational. Rather than calmly explaining the policy or working toward a solution, there was significant pushback when I voiced a reasonable concern as a parent. Because I no longer felt comfortable proceeding under those circumstances, I made the decision to stop the appointment and leave before treatment began. My child will be receiving care at a different dental office. I understand that every practice may have its own policies, but transparency and respectful communication with parents are essential—especially when treating children. Policies regarding parental presence during pediatric treatment and sedation should be clearly communicated prior to the appointment so families can make informed decisions. I hope the practice reviews how these situations are handled moving forward. I would appreciate having someone from office management contact me to discuss this experience.

Best Dentist office and Dentists ever. They are so gentle and kind with my daughter ever since she was 2years old. No matter which Dr she sees it’s always top tier, don’t get me started on the staff, it’s the best staff all the ladies are soo friendly and sweet and kind they take great care of everything. Will not go to any other dentist for my daughter.

It was our first time at Sun Valley Pediatric and we had such a great experience. The staff was kind, patient, and welcoming. They made my daughter feel comfortable which means so much to us. Highly recommend!
