Beacon Dental Center Brookline

This place is good for average dental checkups and cleanings but don’t go here for surgery. Had wisdom teeth removed here and had ensuing numbness. Was told to simply take vitamins and that it would go away eventually. Received no advice on recourse even after it was clear it wouldn’t get better, and am now seeking options to solve what is probably permanent nerve damage.

I have been a patient at Beacon Dental Center for several years, and I couldn’t be happier with my experience. Dr. Zhang is truly exceptional—professional, highly skilled, and always gentle and attentive. Dr. Zhang and her assistants take time to explain everything clearly, which makes every visit comfortable and stress-free. The entire staff is friendly, welcoming, and accommodating, creating a pleasant experience from start to finish. After several years of excellent care, I can honestly say that Dr. Zhang is the best dentist I have ever had. I highly recommend Beacon Dental Center to anyone looking for outstanding dental care!

I had a positive experience during my emergency visit this morning. I came in as a new patient. They were able to quickly fit me in, evaluate me and provide a plan of action. They did not try to upsell me or tell me there was anything else wrong. My husband raves about this office...now I understand why.

Dr. Shen graduated from Harvard Dental School and took over his family business. He is very efficient and honest. He won’t push you to do unnecessary dental work. My dental hygienist is excellent and meticulous. I am going to switch to Beacon Dental Center for my future dental work.

Dr. Shen did a tremendous job with my tooth extraction. Other than the shots to numb the area (which were only mildly painful), I experienced no pain during the procedure. I was very impressed with his ability to stitch up the area with a teeny tiny needle using forceps! I have sewn for years but I doubt that I could replicate that skill. The assistant and the front office receptionist were very kind and most helpful. I highly recommend Beacon Dental Center!

I was really nervous about going to the dentist and even became tearful during my first appointment (from my own anxiety), but having gone to beacon for the past 4 times, i have come to be very comfortable with the idea of going to the dentist!
