Gentle Dental Derry

I'd give a zero, but Google doesn't allow it. My wife had a procedure done. We were charged and promptly paid our bill. We then received our EOB from our insurance company and discovered we were significantly over charged. We brought the EOB back to the office and were informed it will take 60 days for a refund. They withdrew the money immediately, they should return the money immediately. All the information they need is at their fingertips. They know their contract rates and yet still over charge. Typical, as they are a corporate franchise dentistry. Basically the McDonald's of the dental industry. They are quite skilled at getting the most money they can out of your insurance. I do not recommend using their service.

I went there hoping to become a new patient since I'm new to this town. From the moment I called to make an appointment, I noticed the receptionist had a rude attitude, but I chose to ignore it. When I arrived for my appointment, I had trouble understanding how much I needed to pay because I have ADD and English is not my first language. Instead of being patient, the older receptionist rolled her eyes and wrote the amount on a piece of paper as if she were talking to a child. I found her behavior disrespectful and unprofessional. I decided to stay because I really needed to get my teeth fixed. The doctor and his assistant were WONDERFUL, both were kind, professional, and made me feel comfortable. Unfortunately, I won't be returning because of the receptionist's behavior. A friendly and respectful front desk is an important part of any medical office. Thanks to her rude attitude, the practice lost what could have been a loyal new patient.

I was in this office for about 15 minutes and I have never ever experienced such rude and disgusting staff in my life. The only person there who was helpful was the women working the front desk. No surprise as she was the only white person in the office. The racism against white people is very apparent. There was no greeting from the assistant who did my X-rays, she was very rude and had zero bedside manner. The rest of the dentists and assistants were the same. They threatened to call the police on me because they were refusing to provide my clinical notes and X-ray images that my insurance paid for. I was screamed at by all the staff when all I wanted was proof I even was seen so I of course could file a formal complaint with the state and gental dental themselves. Do not go to this office. By the way their emergency dental care they advertise is not accurate. I have to wait over a month for a tooth extraction with sedation at a whole other office because their oral surgeon only goes to offices once a month- what kind of chop shop is this company to only have one surgeon doing one day of work a month? There are plenty of dentists in Derry, take advantage of the other offices in the area and steer clear of this one!

I cannot stand going to the dentist, so giving a review and positive one is the real deal. The first experience is with Arijeta and Donna at the front desk. They are incredible people, very welcoming and helpful. Tough Dental plans and insurance issues are no problem for this tandem. These two make you feel like part of the family and ease nerves, concerns, responsive to any and all questions. Next is the docs and the facilities, very modern rooms and responsive teeth technicians. I recommend this place for tour dental needs

Gentle Dental was able to see me right away after I was experiencing pain from one of my teeth. The receptionist, dentist and assistants were all friendly & welcoming. I especially love how transparent the staff were regarding the costs of the procedure. They also clearly communicated a treatment plan and prices. I highly recommended this dentist and their essential plan offered to members!

From the moment she greeted me with her warm, friendly smile, I felt completely at ease. Hannah is incredibly gentle yet thorough; she explained every step of the process without rushing, making sure I was comfortable the entire time. Her technique is top-notch—she removed all the buildup without any discomfort, and my teeth felt incredibly clean and smooth afterward (seriously, they’ve never looked or felt better!). She took the time to answer all my questions about oral care, shared helpful tips tailored to my routine, and genuinely seemed to care about my long-term dental health. Hannah’s positive energy, professionalism, and genuine kindness made what could have been a routine appointment into a really pleasant experience. If you’re looking for someone who combines skill, patience, and a great bedside manner, Hannah is outstanding—I’ll definitely be requesting her for all my future visits!
