Loved my first visit to BLVD. Lovely office. Dr. Marshall is laid-back and straightforward. My hygienist Michaela was wonderful. I had avoided my dentist for a year, but I don't dread my next visit to BLVD.

This review is long overdue, but I wanted to share my experience. For some background, I've had multiple root canals and dental implants, so I'm no stranger to extensive dental work or what to expect during these procedures. I came to this office almost two years ago based on a recommendation. After my exam, I was told that two teeth needed to be shaved down and fitted with crowns. That didn't concern me because I'd been through similar procedures before. I want to be fair—the front office staff and dental assistants were always kind and professional. My issue is with the treatment I received from the dentist. After my teeth were prepared and temporary crowns were placed, I expected some soreness. Instead, the pain became progressively worse. I was taking Tylenol and ibuprofen every day just to make it through the day. I called the office to explain how severe the pain was, but my concerns were brushed off. When I returned for my permanent crowns, I took more Tylenol and ibuprofen beforehand because I knew how painful things had become. I specifically told the staff how much pain I was in and asked if I could receive a numbing injection before the permanent crowns were placed. I was told I didn't need one. When the dentist began placing the crowns, the pain was absolutely excruciating. Rather than acknowledging my discomfort or stopping to address it, I felt like my pain was dismissed as if it wasn't a big deal. Nearly two years later, I still cannot bite down comfortably on my left side, and that tooth remains sensitive. That should not be the outcome after this type of procedure. While the staff was friendly, my experience with the actual dental treatment and the lack of concern for my pain was extremely disappointing. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this office and would encourage others to consider other options.

I personally would not recommend. I had a couple crowns done by them 1 year to 6 months ago. One of them had to be redone because the color didn’t match my teeth and the other done 1 1/2 year ago has caused me a bit of irritation since then because there is a gap between the tooth and gum that food can get stuck. They also stopped taking our insurance.

I’m really upset about my experience today. I had an 8:00 AM prophylaxis appointment at BLVD Dentistry, and upon arrival, I was told that the hygienist I was scheduled with was unavailable. I was offered to proceed with another hygienist, the same one I had previously seen when this exact situation happened before due to a call out. After the scaling portion of my cleaning, I was surprised when the hygienist told me that a dental assistant would complete the coronal polishing. I asked if he had another patient, since it seemed like he was rushing to move on. His response felt dismissive and somewhat sarcastic, which made the interaction uncomfortable. Overall, his demeanor came across as difficult and lacking patient awareness. More concerning, this is now the second time I’ve experienced mandibular pain after being treated by him, likely due to excessive pressure during the procedure. My main concern is the office’s approach to scheduling. If they are unable to accommodate patients properly due to staffing issues, it would be more appropriate to reschedule rather than trying to fit in as many patients as possible. Rushed care leads to a poor patient experience and raises concerns about quality.

Everyone was so great. Devon, the hygienist Beth, and Dr Marshall took care of me. All of were so kind as well as professional, very competent, and efficient. They answered all of my questions and I’d feel lucky to continue my dental care with them.

My family went to BLVD for a few years, the services and cleanings were fine. The billing department and transparency around treatments was the worst I have ever experienced. To the point where the team would notify us of additional charges at follow on appointments, but then be unwilling, or unable, to present a full breakdown of charges and services rendered. No response or follow ups provided after numerous phone calls and emails. We opted to move to a different provider.

All of the staff at this location are professional and friendly. I’ve had several dental emergencies arise and I am able to schedule an appointment quickly every time. Dr. Marshall explains procedures in an easily understandable manner and shows great patience when I am anxious. The staff value the physical and emotional comfort of their patients, which I am deeply grateful for! I always feel welcomed by the staff. Thank you for everything you do to help my dental health!
