Happy Chompers Pediatric Dentistry

We had such a great experience at Happy Chompers Dental! I took my 8-year-old daughter, and everyone made us feel so welcome from the moment we walked in. Dr. B was kind, patient, and took the time to make my daughter feel comfortable throughout her visit. Kareem (the assistant) was also amazing—so friendly, caring, and great with kids. They both made what could have been a stressful appointment a positive experience. I truly appreciate their professionalism, compassion, and the excellent care they provided. I highly recommend Happy Chompers Dental to any parent looking for a wonderful dental team for their child!

I can’t say enough good things about Happy Chompers! Today I took both of my kids by myself—my 4-year-old daughter, who has autism and is very anxious about the dentist, and my 2-year-old son—and the entire team went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. When my daughter became overwhelmed, they quietly moved us to a private room without making us feel like it was a big deal or an inconvenience. They were so patient, kind, and understanding, doing everything they could to distract her and help her feel safe. What really stood out to me was how the staff worked together. While I was helping one child, the dental assistants stepped in to keep my other little one occupied so I could focus. As a parent trying to manage two young kids alone, that meant more than they probably realize. Everyone we encountered was incredibly gentle, compassionate, and welcoming. They treated my daughter with so much patience and understanding, and they made what could have been a very stressful appointment into a genuinely positive experience. If you’re looking for a pediatric dentist—especially if your child has extra needs or dental anxiety—I wholeheartedly recommend Happy Chompers. We’re so thankful for such an amazing team!

Update to My Previous Review From 1 star to 4 stars based on accountability I want to provide an update following my previous review. After sharing my experience, I received a phone call from Dr. Adeel, the lead dentist at Happy Chompers. He reached out personally after learning about what had happened and took the time to listen to my concerns from my perspective. I truly appreciated that he didn’t dismiss my feelings and instead allowed me to explain why the experience left me feeling the way it did. During our conversation, he sincerely apologized for my experience and explained how the office’s scheduling process is intended to work. He also shared that there are certain situations—such as true dental emergencies or patients with special needs—that may require someone to be seen out of order. I appreciated the explanation and better understand those circumstances. While I still stand by how I felt during our visit, I also believe it’s important to acknowledge when a business takes accountability and makes an effort to make things right. Dr. Adeel was respectful, professional, and genuinely concerned about our experience. He also asked if my daughter and I would consider returning. Because we have not had any previous issues with Happy Chompers, and my daughter has always enjoyed her visits there, I’ve decided to give the practice another chance. I hope our experience moving forward reflects the level of care and fairness that every family deserves. Thank you, Dr. Adeel, for reaching out personally and taking the time to listen. ————————- I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Happy Chompers Dentistry on Fernhurst in Katy. My daughter and I had a 1:00 p.m. appointment. Even though it was raining, we arrived around 12:45 p.m. At that time, only one other family was inside waiting for the rain to let up. After they left, it was just my daughter and me. A short time later, another parent arrived with two children, followed by several more families. It appeared that everyone had a 1:00 p.m. appointment. When 1:00 p.m. arrived, I expected patients to be called in based on arrival time or at least according to a fair scheduling process. Instead, family after family was called before us, even though we had been there first. After watching several patients go ahead of us, I went to the front desk to ask how patients were being called. The explanation I received did not make sense and did not address my concern. The entire interaction left me feeling dismissed, disrespected, and overlooked. Based on how we were treated, I left with the personal impression that race may have played a role in our experience. Whether intentional or not, that was how the situation felt to me, and it was upsetting enough that my daughter and I chose to leave without being seen. Every patient deserves to be treated with fairness, respect, and transparency. Unfortunately, that was not our experience, and because of it, I cannot recommend this office based on our visit.

My Daughter had her Sealants appointment Sabina and Hygienist Sadie she was so sweet and super nice with Lydia she had wonderful manners to her she took her time to do her sealants quick because Lydia was in a hurry to get to her social studies class. During the appointment it was clam the room was so nice then she got to pick her favorite TV show called Tangled the series also when Lydia was so brave like the angel for her teacher. They said that she did a wonderful job her favorite part was getting the prices out of the box the room was so colorful she love having a ride in the green chair Great Appointment Richard was so great and he was so clam they took 2 x-rays in his mouth then the dentist and the assistant was so great with him and thank y’all for being wonderful🦷💚

This has been the best and most welcoming dental office for my son! We have been coming here for 5 years now and the level of comfort and clarity they provide is amazing. My son loves to ask all the details and they never fail to explain it perfectly to him at his age.

My son has been going here since he was a couple of months due to having a tongue tie. He’s now 4 and we love this place! The office staff and doctors are amazing. They are very professional and interactive with the children. After the visit the kids always get a coin to choose a special toy! I highly recommend.
