Summit Fair Dental Care

I had originally given 5 stars based on how kind their receptionist was and how quickly they were able to get me in.. But after 4 visits of them not properly billing, providing innacurate quotes up front because they did not properly review my dental plan in order to present me with an appropriately priced treatment plan which resulted in multiple different bills after the fact, I cannot let my review stand. I sent my son there as well and have just recently received an additional bill for his services. After my first new charge after I paid my portion, I asked if it was due to an alternative benefit being applied and the office staff told me "no, they don't know why insurance does this but it happens all the time". I have been in dental insurance for decades and knew this was incorrect. What actually happened was they knew my plan would not cover something as a main benefit, suggested it anyway, did not included it on the initial pricing and then when insurance applied the alternate benefit they sent me an updated bill. Then their office either had no experience in how insurance works or lied to my face. It makes sense now why they planned my treatments the way they did, which was going to cost me thousands of dollars out of my pocket rather than scheduling the most expensive treatment first so it could be submitted to insurance. They were afraid I would decline this less important treatments because my maximum would have been met, like replacing all of my amalgam fillings - which I am starting to doubt was the necessity they made it out to be. Now my son has an additional $130 bill too. My emails regarding these issues have been left unanswered, I am assuming for the same reasons. Read the reviews before you go here, it seems they are just another corporate dentist trying to get as many services completed at one time without regard for their patients.

After being a patient at Summit Fair Dental for over 10 years, I am unfortunately taking my business elsewhere over unresolved insurance billing issue that should have been filed in 2025. I had an appointment take place back in May 2025, at the time I was not aware of any balance due. I was not informed of it until I returned for my next appointment.. At that time, I explained that I had dental insurance, provided my insurance information to the front desk, and was told the claim would be submitted. More than a year later, I learned the claim was never filed. Because the filing deadline had passed, my insurance denied the claim, and I am now responsible for the balance. I will pay the bill, but this situation could have been avoided. While this was only for a routine cleaning my insurance would have taken care of it if it was filed on time. The clinical team has always been wonderful, and I truly wish them the best. Unfortunately, this experience has caused me to lose confidence in the office’s billing process, and I’ve decided it’s time to find a new dentist.

I had a wonderful experience here! I was scheduled fairly quickly to see someone, and they were even able to squeeze in an additional appointment on the same day for the fillings. I can’t say enough good things about the staff! Front desk was very friendly and efficient. There was also a lady that provided me with a thorough breakdown of costs and charges for my visit and procedures that I would be having, which was very appreciated. My hygienists ensured I was well informed and comfortable, Ashlynn and Adriana are outstanding and very accommodating. I was so impressed by their communication, skill, and demeanor. I even got to watch a Disney movie and was offered a blanket when I got cold. Dr. Steever herself was phenomenal. She is very personable, her communication was excellent throughout my visits, and she was very professional. All of my questions were answered, and my smile looks brand new after just one day. I’m excited to continue my care with the team here!

McKenna was so sweet and eased my anxiety with her kindness. She explained everything she was doing before she did it and made me very comfortable. But, everyone there is always so nice. I hate going to the dentist but at least they make it a pleasant experience.

First off, I hate to leave less than glaring reviews. I will start with the pros: the staff is mostly friendly. The office is clean. Their booking availability is pretty flexible minus the multiple needs for confirmation-please confirm or they will cancel your appointment. The cons: not attentive or detail-oriented. Also, feels very much like a cash-grab. My first visit was an emergency appointment (my back tooth chipped) At this appointment they took x-rays, did a deep cleaning, and offered me a quote for Invisalign and were prepared to send me on my way—without addressing my emergency. On subsequent visits, they always ask me to provide access to my insurance long before my visit. To me, it feels like they’re checking my formulary to see what/where they can charge me. I’ve let it be known that I don’t take fluoride and was given flouride on my last visit before I could decline. I feel like that should be highlighted in a patient’s chart. I paid for that appointment out of pocket at the end of the appointment. I later received an unexpected bill that couldn’t be explained when I called for clarity. If you want Invisalign they would love to have you, but if you want thorough care, I would suggest going elsewhere.

Great experience! They were super thoughtful, thorough and transparent about costs. Usually I'm in pain after a routine cleaning. Everything was so gentle but I still felt super clean after- no pain! Everyone from front desk to the dentist, Dr. Steever was awesome and so kind!

This office is simply amazing! Just stop looking and book an appointment. I haven't gotten work done (yet) but they have been so very kind, helpful, patient, understanding, thorough, and knowledgeable/informative. Very smooth process so far, and I felt very comfortable while getting X-rays, etc. Everyone took their time to explain everything to me and answer my questions, and I absolutely cannot wait to go back! Thank you girls so much.
