I have been going here for a few years now, and unfortunately, my experience with their cancellation policy has left me very disappointed. I understand the need for a cancellation policy, especially when appointments are in high demand. However, requiring 24 hours’ notice with essentially no flexibility feels unnecessarily strict. Unexpected emergencies and health issues happen, and I believe there should be some discretion for an occasional situation—particularly when someone has otherwise been a long-term, reliable patient. I could understand a strict policy for repeated last-minute cancellations, but treating an isolated emergency the same way feels like a lack of understanding and compassion. Unfortunately, because of my insurance, I do not have another dental provider I can switch to, which means this situation may now leave me without access to dental care. That is especially disappointing from a healthcare provider. I understand that policies and business costs matter, but I also believe healthcare should involve some degree of compassion and understanding when patients are dealing with unexpected circumstances. I have been a patient here for years, and I’m sad that this situation and a lack of flexibility ultimately ended my ability to receive care there.

Dr. Terry and the entire staff are amazing! They are always friendly, caring, and make every visit a great experience. Highly recommend!

Today was my first appointment at Androscoggin Dental group. Being a New patient is always nerve-racking. However, I have to say that it was really nice going in and having a fairly quick check-in by Tina and having thorough New Patient imaging done by Melissa. Melissa gave me good vibes an energy and was so kind to me. Dr Terry then came in and did her part and gave such reassurance on issues that have been neglected prior to becoming a patient, due to trouble getting into a dental office due to insurance. I can now rest Easy by not having any more nightmares about losing my teeth lol. I was on the cancellation list because my original new client appointment was in October but this office sends out texts all the time about cancellations and I was luckily able to get in fairly quickly. And then it just happened that they had a cancellation for a cleaning same week and so I was able to get in again for a cleaning. Was great to be listened to and great to have a treatment plan in place. They definitely took the time it made me feel like a human rather than just a number. I saw Dr. Terry today. Shout out to her, Melissa and Tina.

DR.Terry is Fantastic!!!! I had the initial impression I was going in for the first of two visits for the setting of a crown would you it would’ve been the first major mouth thing I would have done with the exception of extractions, but Dr. Terry looked in my mouth and she said Gordie all it is is a bad filling. That’s gonna be nothing. You don’t know the relief. I felt Dr. Terry’s fantastic.

I canceled my first appointment and they rescheduled right away. When I went to the appointment they didn’t have me in the schedule, it was a mixup but they automatically took me in cause they had a cancellation. The whole staff is very welcoming and the clinicians are very thorough.

My wife and I thought that our visit to the Dentist was great. Relocating from Florida to Maine. Changing all my medical needs to local was something that I did not look forward to. The people in this made us both welcome and took care of all our dental issues. We are looking forward to our next appointments. Om

I love how nice the dental assistance and Doctor is I appreciate them taking the time to make us feel comfortable and are patient with my son. One of the women always remembers my name in the back the hygienist we’ve spoken about the cat and dog videos and she’s been so nice and calming. I really appreciate the energy there.

I highly recommend Androscoggin dental group! I just had my last appointment today after about a year of having work done. I had a lot of work that needed done. Dr. Terry was informative, kind, and best of all super mindful of my anxiety and comfort levels. She always made sure to remind me to let her know if I needed anything- even as simple as a break. I had most of my work done while pregnant, which Dr Terry and the assistants were always very careful of while providing care. I obviously really appreciated that, and all the other care I received this past year. I always felt my concerns about my dental health were taken seriously. By the end of my work being done my anxiety was almost completely gone and it’s all thanks to the staff at ADG. I can’t say enough good things. Thank you all!

It was my first visit to this Dentist and I was impressed by the Dentist and the staff's professionalism, friendliness, and the great vibes I got from the office. After, the appointment the dentist and dental assistant explained everything that would happen moving forward and what to expect. Answering any question and/or concerns I had.
