Terrible cleaning and when addressed, they would prefer you go elsewhere…. To top it off, they agreed to not charge my insurance so that I can get a cleaning somewhere else (instead of correcting) but then sent me a bill! Unbelievable

We have been loyal patients at Magnolia Family Dental on FM 1488 for years and, until today, had never had a single complaint. Unfortunately, one bad experience is understandable. What isn’t understandable is how they chose to handle it. My family of four had routine six month cleaning appointments as the very first patients of the day. Despite that, the office appeared to have only one dental hygienist for every patient. It took over two hours for four routine cleanings, which should have been a simple appointment. The cleanings themselves were unbelievably rushed. I have never experienced anything like it. I left with my teeth feeling exactly the same as when I walked in. My husband said it was one of the worst cleanings he has ever had, and I completely agreed. It was hurried, ineffective, and honestly felt like we were being rushed through an assembly line. Because we’ve been loyal patients for years, I thought it was only fair to bring my concerns to the office privately and give them the opportunity to make it right. I made it clear that we had always loved this office and had never complained before. I wasn’t asking for a refund or anything unreasonable. I simply asked if our cleanings could be redone. The office manager told me she would speak with the doctor and call me back. When she did, I was stunned. Instead of standing behind the quality of their work or offering to fix the problem, she told me they simply would not bill our insurance so we could go somewhere else for our cleanings. Read that again. After years of being loyal patients, their solution to one legitimate complaint was essentially, “We’d rather lose you than make it right.” That response was far more disappointing than the rushed cleaning itself. Every business has an off day. What separates a great business from a mediocre one is how they respond when a loyal customer brings a concern to their attention. Magnolia Family Dental had every opportunity to earn even more respect by correcting the situation. Instead, they chose to send us elsewhere. They made the decision for us. We will gladly take our business, and our insurance benefits, to a dental office that values long term patients and stands behind the care they provide.

After moving from a small town to the Magnolia area, I struggled to find a dentist that felt like the right fit. Several offices I visited seemed much more focused on cosmetic procedures than simply providing great dental care. A family member recommended this office, and I am so glad they did. From my very first visit, it reminded me of the small town dentist I had always loved. Everyone is genuinely kind, welcoming, and efficient, and I never feel rushed or pressured into unnecessary treatments. If you’re looking for honest, high quality dental care with a friendly, hometown feel, I highly recommend this practice!

I have had a wonderful experience so far!! Dr Adam’s and Andrea have the best bed side manner and really listen and are fun. Front office is so kind and helpful. Thank you all!!🤗

Very thorough, friendly, and timely service! They also do not have shady practices of adding unnecessary services that cost extra above what my insurance covers. I appreciate that because for some reason it has been difficult to find a dental clinic who does not add additional out of pocket charges to basic cleanings in this area.

Honestly best dental office I’ve been to in over a decade. Everyone is super friendly and Dr Adam does a very thorough and careful job. I can’t believe they had me laughing throughout the whole appointment. I felt so comfortable and will definitely be making sure I keep coming back.

I'm SO glad I stumbled upon this practice. What an excellent judgement free dental office I can't get over it. Dr Lena Adams is so incredibly kind, as are their hygienists who seem to just want the best for their patients. The dentist is never anyone's favorite place but this office is a good one!

Incredibly kind and patient staff! Be a good patient though. Practice holding your tongue in place to block your esophagus. Try your best to breath normally out of your nose. Count how many seconds you're breathing in, holding, and breathing out. 2025.07.08 It's always a pleasure to be here! The waiting room is kept clean and they play soothing music while you wait. The staff is always incredibly kind and patient with me! I got some brushing tips too! I'll do my best to rotate my jaw from left to right when trying to reach my upper and lower wisdom teeth! 2025.10.07 I had the pleasure of visiting with Lorena, Natalie, Clarissa, and Dr. Ahmida. They always treat me with kindness and respect! I done fergert to schedule a tooth extraction before my orthodontic appointment but they were understanding and helpful about it. Plus, I've received a text notification about my upcoming exam and cleaning on 10/10/25! Hopefully when that appointment comes around I'll be more assertive and less scared:) 2026.03.03 I had the pleasure of seeing my buddies! And got a plan of action for extracting 5 and 12 my premolars! For some reason, child me thought, I wasn't worth the money spent, or perhaps was worried about food scarcity and bills growing up. Now, adult me, has to deal with an overbite correction and losing even more teeth! If a child happens to be reading this, please, just let someone, anyone know, "Hey, I get worried about taking up XYZ." The worst thing they could do, is end your life, with that in mind, practice taking out the balance of your predator. If you see a swing coming, duck and sweep them off their feet! If you happen to have no body mass, blind them, they didn't deserve to see your beauty anyway! Oof, maybe that was unsolicited advice, but honestly, I wish someone would have given it to me a very long time ago. Stay safe out there! You're doing great!
