Great Expressions Dental Centers - Snellville

Amazing dental office. I've been going since I was younger and the dentist here are very kind and caring, extremely professional. Currently I have braces and the process is going so well, and their many color options is also so nice. Their advice on how to care for your teeth is also very well.

The front office is less to be desired, poor communication and lack patient customer service, However once you get passed that you're in great care. Dr. G, Chiriia and Arianna are kind, knowledgeable, patient service friendly and again Knowledgeable. They have a great team going in the back, they love what they do and it shows. I can't forget Aiden or Jayden the billing staffer, wonderful at explaining the breakdown of your bill and patient friendly.

As a first time experience, I am happy to say I was pleasantly surprised at the level of comfort I was given. The staff was kind and polite, I mean every single person I either passed or made eye contact with, they were so nice. The building is beautiful and clean, and plenty of parking. One negative for me is there's only elevator for this huge building. Overall I will definitely stay a client and for the first time ever, looking forward to going back.

I am revising my original post. Unfortunately my teeth were not polished properly and I had rough places after the finishing process of what I was told was fluoride. This was the first time I’ve had this result. I have had routine dental cleaning for over 60 years. This is a first for me. When my follow up call from the dentist office came, I told them about it. I was told that the hygienist would be contacting me. It didn’t happen. There’s no way I will go back to this office. I will just have to drive back to the city to my previous dentist. Lesson learned! I enjoyed my first visit today at Great Expressions in Snellville. I arrived early and had a chance to relax. Nadia was very thorough with learning my history and making corrections where necessary. I used the patient portal to complete the necessary forms. Lori was so patient and caring getting my X-rays. Dr. Ghanni was attentive and very helpful explaining what I needed to get done, why it was necessary and her the staff was very helpful on how to create a financial plan so I can pay for my care. Thank you for taking time to make sure I understood what was going to happen and why. The facility was pristine and comfortable. A little more attention to the restroom decor was my only concern. It was very clean which I appreciate.

If I could 0 stars I would. Every time we come to this location for an appointment it’s always something. This time we came for our appointments scheduled 6 months ago and were told on arrival after driving 40 min to the appointment that my husbands appointment had been cancelled due to staffing issues. Understandable but no one notified us. The lady at the front desk rescheduled him and told us to sit down and wait to be called. I was called back for my cleaning appointment and happened to ask the staff taking care of me what time my husbands cleaning was and they said 10:30, mind you his original appointment that was canceled was at 08:40. I was furious. He didn’t get called back until 10:22 and obtained X-rays and sat for over an hour to find out the lady at the front desk scheduled him did a problem appointment and not a cleaning. So not only did we not get a cleaning, the problem wasn’t resolved, we wasted 3 hours of our time that we cannot get back. I will NEVER come back.

I highly recommend this location in Snellville. The atmosphere was calm and everyone from the front office to the back office was superb. My anxiety was off the chain then after completing my caps...lol...more than one I felt beautiful. I was taking selfie's at the elevator. Thank you everyone for a great job at GEDC!

I was in and out, wait time was not bad. Dr. Hedge was great! Worked fast yet accurately to ensure my filling was done properly, she’s amazing! Jazz, at the desk was amazing and helpful with explaining cost breakdown! Dental assistant who helped Dr. Hedge with my filling was amazing as well! Overall great experience and will continue to visit GEDC in Snellville!

I arrived 12 mins after my scheduled appointment granted, I understand I was late however their “ grace period “ is 15 mins. They waited 30 mins to call me to the front desk to inform me that they had to reschedule my appointment due to being late!!!!! When I made it before the grace period, mind you the Receptionist was attending another patient while I was signing it. When the person before me had 12 clock appointment as well and we arrived at the same time. Poor service/ taking my family elsewhere.

I highly recommend this dentist office. I was terrified to get my wisdom teeth removed and they went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable relaxed and couldn't feel any pain only pressure the ladies that did my surgery were excellent and I truly appreciate that the nurse went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and she explained everything to me and made sure I understood everything she was so helpful and kind to me the hospitality there is beyond perfection. My dentist was Dr. Ghannie I believe I am spelling her name correctly if not I apologize. She got in there and got it out as quickly as possible. I had one that was easy and the bottom one was hooked on my jaw from my understanding and She got it out as quickly as possible thank goodness. This was my first time doing anything to this sort and I am very thankful for those two ladies for taking such good care of me. It's doctor's and nurses like that that deserve to be recognized and well the whole facility is amazing every one I came into contact with was very helpful, kind and understanding! If you have to have wisdom teeth removed I highly recommend their team! I am one to up and cancel just out of fear and they were able to get my wisdom teeth out without a fight from me. That should speak loudly 😁🤣! Thanks Ladies! Hopefully in a few days I'll be able to come tell you guys thank you, when I'm fully healed up.

The experience felt rather hurried and lacked a personal connection. There was a noticeable absence of patient education regarding the necessary steps. Furthermore, the services offered seemed to extend beyond what was actually required. This approach left me feeling somewhat uninformed and questioning the necessity of certain procedures. A more patient and informative approach would have been greatly appreciated. It is important for providers to offer clear explanations and support. Focusing on essential services would also improve the overall patient experience. This would ensure clients feel well-cared for and understood. Just feels like McDonald's of Dentistry.
