I was disappointed with the communication and lack of information throughout my experience here. I originally came in because I was experiencing pain that I believed was coming from a specific tooth, and I repeatedly described and pointed out the tooth I was concerned about. I was ultimately referred for a root canal, which I had done, but due to poor communication I left with the understanding that the tooth I originally came in about was the tooth that had been treated. It wasn't until I returned later because I was still experiencing discomfort that I learned the root canal had actually been performed on the neighboring tooth. That tooth may very well have needed the treatment, and I'm not claiming the root canal itself was unnecessary. My issue is that nobody clearly explained to me that the tooth being treated was different from the tooth I had been identifying as the source of my pain. When I returned with continued discomfort and confusion, I was hoping for an evaluation and an explanation of what might still be causing the pain. Instead, I felt that my concerns were dismissed and I left without much more information than I came in with. I understand that dental pain can be difficult to localize and can refer between neighboring teeth. That's exactly why clear communication from the dental professionals is so important. Had someone simply explained which tooth they believed was causing my symptoms, why they were treating that tooth instead of the one I was indicating, and what they found regarding the neighboring tooth, this would have been a very different experience. I can't speak negatively about the technical quality of the dental work, but the lack of communication, explanation, and attention to my concerns left me uncomfortable enough that I'll be seeking care elsewhere. Dr. Carter was cool though and not remotely involved in the miscommunication, he seemed eager to get me out of pain.

Overall really recommend this dental practice. The location is easy to get into. The staff is professional, friendly and very understanding. I love that this dental practice takes care credit in order to make payments a little bit easier on clients. This dental facility has a very relaxing ambience and I highly recommend it to people in the Windsor area looking for a dentist.

Incredible team, hands down. They make you feel welcome the first time you walk in, and always put your needs before anything else, always making sure you're comfortable during your appointments, and there is absolutely zero judgement. Thank you guys for the work you've done on me. My teeth used to look terrible and now, after five appointments, they look and feel brand new! I can finally smile again without feeling embarrassed :)

They have the most kind people that work there! I’ve been going here for about 8 years and every time is really a pleasure. They go out of their way to help you figure out insurance, keep timely appointments, and really want to know you. Thank you for your small town feel of genuineness.

I press five stars because it's the truth. Windsor Family Dentistry is always there for me .. with my aging teeth , uncomfortable situations arise and I've never had to wait . They always work me in and are so helpful , honest , thorough, I've never a complaint, always such a great job. Everyone Very professional with great attitudes & so friendly . This patient feels very blessed. I recommend them highly to everyone. You will not be disappointed.
