Signature Smile General & Cosmetic Dentistry - Brooklyn Heights

I have been going to Signature Smile for 10+ years and have found them to be both very caring and very professional. They provide options and explanations, which I appreciate, and they are understanding and encouraging. I highly recommend them, especially if you are anxious about dental care.

I enjoyed my visits to Signature Smile. The dental team are very friendly and make you feel comfortable. Dr. Trojan shows genuine concern for the dental health of every patient. The atmosphere is very inviting and calm. I feel very confident of the outcome of every visit.

Although I really dislike going to the dentist in general, everyone made the experience as pleasant as possible. I had really severe tooth pain, and the front desk lady- named Erica- she even called me and told me all we can take you in earlier. She was really kind when she explained and answered all my billing questions. The dental hygienist, the dentist and the other lady were all professional. When the dental hygienist was cleaning my teeth, she asked me if I was OK periodically and I really appreciated that because I told her I don’t like pain. She was very reassuring- good bedside manner. I will continue coming here.

I take my 4 year old to Signature Smile, and they are very good with him. Patient and comforting. It makes the whole experience so much easier!

I was in dire straits and thankfully Theo if g a friend referral I was hooked up with the nice folks at Signature Smile Dentistry in Brooklyn Heights. Melanie was quick to get me in with the first morning appointment and from there I got to see Dr. Trojan. She was open and honest and referred me to an oral surgeon nearby who could properly treat my complicated problem. Thanks to them I was seen immediately and the work was done within an hour. Thanks to everyone who helped get the process done and over with.

Best Dentist in Brooklyn. Friendly staff, super clean office and update to date dentist equipment. I am a long time committed customer. 15 years later and I travel over an hour just to get my teeth examined and a routine cleaning. As others have shared, this office will push unnecessary cosmetic procedures to include Invisalign. I wear retainers at night after years of braces - I don't know why they continued to push Invisalign for me. My cleanings also felt very rushed - I think this office tends to overbook clients and you have only a few minutes with Dr. Trogan. During my first appointment, I was urged to do a deep cleaning. I had never done a deep cleaning before and my former dentist six months prior in another state had seen zero issues with my teeth. I was also urged to buy hundreds of dollars worth of antibiotics for my gums during the deep cleaning. In my follow up appointment after the deep cleaning, I asked if there was a difference and I was not given an answer. I was also informed I had multiple cavities despite not experiencing any pain. I had one filled with a lot of hesitation and went to another dentist for a second opinion. My current dentist did x-rays and further checked to see if the tooth was "sticky." There was no cavity, and he was confused why the other tooth was filled. He also has seen zero issues with my gums which is consistent with the dentists I had seen for a decade prior to Signature Smile. As someone else said, I've also sat on this review for a long time but I still don't know how I can have years of normal cleanings, go to Signature Smile for a first time visit and immediately be urged I need deep cleaning and have several cavities. Thankfully, I found a new dentist and my normal cleanings have resumed. I would hope my experience was an anomaly but others have shared similar experiences which caused me to also share. I only went to Signature Smile a couple of times, and each time - I had a gut feeling the office was more focused on adding on procedures to increase profit and that patient care was not prioritized.
