The most kindest and caring staff ever! Loved the modern high-tech imaging, thorough explanations, financing options, and was able to purchase toothpaste and an electric toothbrush and was given some free dental hygiene products too. Didn’t have to make an order on Amazon. They accepted my insurance too. Excellent experience! Thank you!

Wow, what an incredible experience I just had at “My Dentist”. From the moment I walked through the door, I felt genuinely welcomed and cared for. Every team member I interacted with was kind, helpful, and attentive, and they went above and beyond to make sure my appointment went smoothly. I especially appreciated how thorough they were in taking the time to understand my dental history and assess my current dental health. It was clear that their goal was not just to treat a problem, but to truly get to the root cause of any concerns and create the best possible plan for my long-term dental health. What really stood out to me was how proactive and personally invested they were in my care. If a specialist is needed, they are willing to personally reach out and coordinate care rather than leaving the patient to be the Intermediary. That level of communication and commitment is so refreshing and made me feel like I was truly in good hands. I was so impressed and grateful for the care I received that I immediately scheduled my children at their new pediatric office, “My Pediatric Dentist”. I feel confident they will receive the same exceptional level of care, kindness, and attention that I experienced. Thank you to the entire “My Dentist” team for making me feel so welcomed, heard, and cared for. I am incredibly grateful to have found a dental team that truly puts their patients first!

I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel obligated to share my experience. Before agreeing to any treatment, I repeatedly told every member of the staff that I would not proceed unless everything was pre-authorized through my insurance. I explained that I had been surprised by dental bills in the past and wanted to avoid that happening again. This wasn’t a one-time conversation. I discussed it with my hygienist, the office manager, the dentist, the x-ray technician, and the front office staff throughout multiple appointments. After treatment, I received a bill for over $1,100. During months of correspondence, the office ultimately confirmed in writing that they never submitted a pre-treatment estimate or pre-authorization on my behalf, despite my repeated requests that they do so before any treatment was performed. Instead of taking responsibility for that internal failure, I was repeatedly directed back to the fact that insurance estimates are not guarantees. That completely misses the point. My concern was never about an estimate being wrong. My concern was that I specifically requested pre-authorization before consenting to treatment, and the office admits they never submitted one. I have no issue paying for treatment when expectations are communicated honestly. What I cannot support is a practice telling a patient one thing, later admitting it never happened, and then expecting the patient to absorb the financial consequences. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this office.

This office is wonderful. They work so well as a team and are super friendly. Not to mention they have state-of-the-art equipment. Got my crown the same day and was able to watch it being made! Love it! Thank you for taking such great care of me and all my fears!

Had a great experience with the entire team at My Dentist from the moment I arrived. I usually feel super anxious about dental visits (super sensitive) and have put them off due to anxiety. What stood out the most was how rare it is to find such a patient-centered office. Hard to find this level of care. Dr Kovar (and Nicole) were a great team and very experienced. Their entire process is streamlined, smooth and well organized. So happy I found My Dentist in Mesa. Defiantly recommend

Mira is hands down one of the best dental hygienists I’ve ever had. From the moment you sit in her chair, she makes you feel comfortable and at ease. She’s incredibly gentle but still very thorough, taking the time to explain what she’s doing and why it matters for your dental health.If you’re someone who usually dreads dental visits, Mira will completely change that experience for you. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, kind, and professional hygienist!

Had the most amazing experience at My Dentist. The atmosphere was very calming considering my nerves and the procedure went smooth and painless. Dr Sandhu was super helpful and took time to explain and perform my procedure to make it super comfortable for me. Hats off to the whole team, I’ve never experienced a team quite like this! everyone had such a positive attitude and truly worked together to create a comfortable, welcoming experience. If you’re considering My Dentist I highly l recommend.

I am saddened to give this review. I have been seeing Dr. Kovar for more than 10 years and his service is always 5 stars. I absolutely love my dental hygienist Jennifer (also 5 stars and she is the best dental hygienist I have ever had in my life, seriously!). She genuinely cares and I am always at ease during the appointments. I also adore my daughter's pediatric dentist Dr. Austin, also 5 stars. Also, the dental office is 5 stars. Clean, modern, latest and best equipment. But unfortunately, the front desk and billing are not great (1 star). The front desk is friendly in greeting however lacks work ethic and carelessness to get the billing right. I have 2 appointments already this year which I paid out of pocket half costs because they keep saying they don't have my insurance information even though I presented my insurance card twice during the visits and one time on online form before the first appointment. I checked with my insurance just today, although out of network, I am told it is 100% coverage for preventative with an initial $50 deductible. What is frustrating is they did not submit the claims to my insurance (I called my insurance this morning to check) and not respond to my email to confirm receipt of email which I sent yesterday. Anyways, my daughter has another appointment next week for filing and I am dreading to deal with the front desk. I know after speaking to my insurance that 80% will be covered for her fillings. Money is not the issue here but the principle. I initially decided I will cancel that appointment, but I love my daughter's dentist so I will still go knowing there will be another billing issue and paying an arbitrary out of pocket. I would also hate to give up on our relationship with our dentists and dental hygienists as a family simply because of billing problems, but I may have to if billing problems persist. Dear Office Manager, if you see this, please kindly contact me directly and I would like to confirm: 1. If my insurance information is in your system. I hope so it should be after 3 times! 2. If the claims are submitted. Otherwise, I will need to fill them out myself, get your signature and submit to my insurance. 3. I would like to know what your policy is for charging out of network clients with valid insurance. I didn't realize it is always out of pocket and then reimbursement later (but you will need to file the claims please!). Really appreciate if you could please respond.
